FAQ
Questions
Is this official airport TV?
No. Airport Runways Live is an independent directory of YouTube livestreams and a hosted plane-spotting channel. We are not affiliated with any airport, airline, aviation authority, YouTube, or Flightradar24.
Do you restream other channels?
No. We never restream or proxy another creator’s video. Watch buttons open the official YouTube player or channel so the creator keeps the views and Super Chats.
Can I watch several at once?
Multiview is two official YouTube players max. We will not load a wall of iframes. Two streams already use a lot of data.
How do I get added?
Use the Add a stream form. We only list official YouTube URLs for channels that actually cover an airport on a regular basis.
How do I get my channel removed?
If you own the YouTube channel, go to /remove. We list official URLs only and we do not restream. We will take the listing down after we can tell it is your channel.
Can I spot at MCO?
Yes, with Greater Orlando Aviation Authority approval. Complete the form at https://flymco.com/non-travelers/planespotting/ and wait for email approval before you go. Permitted areas are Terminal Top Garage L9–L10, Garage C L6, and the South Park Place Economy Lot.
Are you hiring?
This is not a job board. Collaborations, rooftop cameras, and press go through the contact form.
Why isn’t a stream marked LIVE?
We never fake a LIVE badge. Status comes from a YouTube Data API cache over a curated list of channel IDs — not a site-wide search. 24/7 cams stay 24/7 while they are up. If we do not know, it is not LIVE.
Do you have a 24/7 camera at MCO?
Not yet. Claiming a 24/7 Orlando cam that does not exist is not something we will do. Host-a-cam is the pitch if you have a rooftop with a runway view.
